Water Collection

I first started collecting water in 2002. I was in Arizona for my mother's funeral and my husband and I drove over the Arizona Canal. I asked him to stop so I could get a "water sample". The canal was a place where I swam and played growing up in Arizona. Since then I have collected or have been given water samples from all over the world. The number of bottles is over 100. The water has been collected from rivers, lakes, springs, wells, holy fountains, snow, hail and the tap.

Water is the source of all life and will become a bigger political issue as it becomes more scarce. It is also the only element that can be transformed into a solid, a liquid and steam. Its magical.
